B&P Ministry was birthed in 1994 out of a desire to help businessmen and professionals integrate their faith with their work world where they spend the majority of their waking hours. By this we mean helping them identify with Christ in their natural sphere of influence, make business decisions based on Biblical ethics and principles, bring God’s presence into their workplace and reach out to and disciple their pre-believing colleagues and business associates. The ministry was started by David Wong who initiated Bible discussions in his office with his colleagues and with some of his business associates for this purpose.

Over the years, the ministry has evolved and expanded to reach family members and different segments of society, including some foreign workers and students.

Core Values:

Out of this grew our Core Values including:

• All Work is spiritual and is our act of worship to God. ( Eph 2:10: Col 3:23: Rom 12:1)
• Our Work is our Calling and Ministry through which we fulfil the Great Commission. (  1 Cor 7: 20-22; 2 Cor 5:18-20; Matt 28:19-20)
• Every believer is in “full time “service and business and professionals are strategically placed as “insiders” to be market place ministers in their natural sphere of influence. (Col  4:2-6: Titus 2:9-10)
• Our influence comes from the authenticity of our character, operating with Integrity and Excellence and bringing God’s presence to our workplace. ( Psalm 15:4; Col 3:17, 22-24; Rom 8:14)
• The business world is a key segment through which we transform lives and raise spiritual leaders ,thereby creating a positive impact on families, businesses and society.

We endeavour to encourage and equip business men and professionals live out this vision through various activities including the following. We also partner with and support other Marketplace ministries and local churches in accomplishing these objectives.
